Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work in industrial environments.
• Available for 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical components and controls.
• Use HMI displays to interpret alarms and diagnose faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, panels, and extrusion equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical prints.
• Complete CMMS work orders and communicate issues clearly to the maintenance team.
• Follow LOTO and safety procedures during troubleshooting and repairs.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician IILocation: Ball Ground, GA 30107Pay: $63,440 annuallyJob Type: Direct Hire, Full-TimeShift: 2nd and 3rd Shifts | 3:00 PM–11:30 PM and 11pm-7:30am | Weekends as neededBenefits: Health/medical, dental, 401(k)Take your industrial maintenance career to the next level with a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity offering a $63,440 annual salary, strong benefits, and hands-on work with industrial electrical and mechanical systems.Industrial Maintenance Technician II Description:Duties and Requirements:Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical components, including sensors, relays, wiring, controls, and basic I/O devices, using a systematic approach to minimize equipment downtime.Use HMI displays to interpret machine alarms, diagnose operational faults, and support troubleshooting of extrusion and downstream equipment.Perform preventive maintenance on motors, control panels, extrusion equipment, and related manufacturing machinery.Diagnose electrical issues involving 3-phase power, control circuits, sensors, relays, and industrial controls.Use multimeters, insulation testers, hand tools, and alignment tools to verify electrical circuits and complete repairs safely.Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical prints, manuals, and blueprints.Replace, repair, and align mechanical components, including motor mounts, gearboxes, rollers, and mechanical drive systems.Apply working knowledge of HMIs, basic PLC concepts, and control signals when diagnosing equipment problems; PLC programming is not required.Perform MIG, TIG, and aluminum welding and complete fabrication or repair work from blueprints as needed.Complete preventive maintenance records, CMMS entries, and work orders accurately and communicate equipment issues clearly to the maintenance team.Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, PPE, and industrial safety procedures during troubleshooting and repairs.Bring at least 2 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or trade school certification preferred.Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds and perform work involving standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, confined or elevated spaces, industrial noise, heat, vibration, and moving equipment.Must be available to work 2nd shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with weekends as needed.Ready to put your industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance skills to work in a Direct Hire opportunity?
