Job summary

Cintas Corporation in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to help maintain an industrial laundry facility. You will assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, and boilers.

You will also support preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities. The role requires reading English maintenance literature, blueprint literacy, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and monitor safety concerns.
• Maintain maintenance records and manage inventory supplies.
• Keep indoor and outdoor areas clean and safe.
