Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support an industrial laundry facility. The role involves repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.

You will help with preventive maintenance, safety, housekeeping, and maintaining maintenance records at the Wichita facility. The position emphasizes the ability to read English maintenance literature, follow blueprints and use basic Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Assist with preventive/predictive maintenance and safety.
• Conduct indoor and outdoor housekeeping and monitor inventory supplies; maintain maintenance records.
