Job summary

Hoover & Strong in Richmond, VA seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician I to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic machinery, electrical equipment, pneumatics, pumps, compressors and motors, ensuring continuous production and quality.

You'll perform preventative maintenance, maintain a safe workspace, and support Lean initiatives while advancing your skills in a family-oriented, non-corporate environment. Starting hourly rate is $24 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of documented experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge is essential; electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Must be able to read diagrams and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic machinery, electrical equipment, pneumatics, pumps, compressors and motors.
• Maintain production and quality by ensuring proper operation of machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance on motors, tools, conveyors and production machines.
• Use calipers, micrometers and measuring instruments to verify parts.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment per procedures and regulations.
• Report maintenance progress to supervisor and coordinate with team.
