Job summary

Pennex, located in Leetonia, Ohio, seeks a Plant Reliability Technician to protect production uptime through diagnostic expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. You’ll lead maintenance for extrusion presses, furnaces, and related equipment while improving reliability and safety.

The role requires an AA or technical training and 5+ years of maintenance experience, including welding and PLC logic. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.”

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent technical training required.
• 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Background in welding; hydraulic and pneumatic circuit components; relay and PLC logic; bearings and gear reducers; equipment alignment; piping installation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to urgent maintenance calls to protect production uptime.
• Lead planned maintenance for extrusion presses and auxiliary systems.
• Perform daily condition checks on critical systems (air, cooling water, oil, leaks).
• Install or modify equipment to elevate reliability and safety.
• Follow CMMS work orders, safety rules, and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to prioritize repairs.
