Job summary

Sealed Air in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings and manufacturing equipment run safely and efficiently. The day shift runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 24/7 plant operations and occasional overtime; focus areas include electrical/mechanical maintenance, HVAC, pumps, and preventive tasks.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate equipment, install/modify gear, document reports, and train with the maintenance team to support plant goals.

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
High School Diploma or GED.
Industrial Maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost and production requirements with minimal supervision.
Troubleshooting and calibration of facilities and manufacturing equipment
Industrial HVAC, Air Compressor, Chiller, and Cooling Tower systems maintenance
Install new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment.
Rebuild equipment components.
Perform standard maintenance tasks to maintain facilities and grounds.
Prepare written and verbal reports/recommendations.
Assist other maintenance team members as required in support of plant goals.
Training hands-on with the maintenance department
