Job summary

Silgan Closures in Tolleson, AZ is hiring a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed injection and compression molding equipment used to produce closures for food and beverage brands. This hands-on role emphasizes safety and reliability in a Fortune 500 manufacturing environment.

You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance, repair machinery, and assist with parts and tool use.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Able to troubleshoot and repair high-speed injection and compression molding equipment.
Work in a safety-conscious, GMP/Food Safety/HACCP compliant environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
Perform repairs on compression and injection molding machinery, auxiliary equipment and maintain systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Repair and rebuild spare parts using hand tools, measuring instruments, blueprints and schematic.
Work with Team Leads, Quality Assurance Technicians, PTMs, Molders, Lining Technicians, and Printer Technicians.
Observe and enforce all safety, security, and comply with GMP, Food Safety, and HACCP programs.
Maintain cleanliness of production areas and machinery.
Assist with building and grounds repairs, including snow removal.
Utilize EAM maintenance management software to enter and close work orders, track parts, and log labor hours.
