Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a Maintenance Technician in Napoleon, OH to maintain the safety and functionality of machines, equipment, buildings and grounds to ensure efficient production.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with Operators and Technicians to keep production running smoothly and safely. This role offers competitive pay and benefits and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in crane and rigging operations.
• Experience in hydraulic and schematic repairs.
• Experience working with electrical 460vac and electrical schematics.
• Forklift training and certification will be provided.
• Lockout/Tag out training provided.
• Hot work training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs machine components to ensure safe operation of production equipment.
• Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of machine or equipment failure and recommends repair solutions.
• Collaborates with Operators, Process Technicians, and Material Handlers to understand failures or fabrication needs.
• Records the details of machine malfunctions and adjustments as required.
• Conducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure proper functionality and quality alignment.
• Maintains cleanliness, functionality and safety of maintenance equipment and work areas.
• Repairs building and grounds equipment to ensure employee safety.
• Performs preventive maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled.
• Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance related functions.
• Completes safety permits, assessments, and related practices for tasks.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
