International Paper in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our hourly full-time production team. The role requires performing preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical repairs, and safe operation of plant equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $31 per hour with a $500 sign-on after 30 days and $500 after 6 months, plus retention bonuses. Overtime and weekend work may be required; safety gear must be worn; drug screens and health assessments

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to work in industrial conditions (hot, dusty, around chemicals, loud, with heavy machinery) with proper safety training.
• Willingness to undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Willingness to undergo a health assessment as a condition of employment.
• Willingness to submit to periodic drug screens and overtime as needed.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative maintenance: lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components, monitoring vibrations and noise.
• Complete emergency/breakdown maintenance to support plant operations.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system repairs and installations.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and accurate maintenance records.
• Work independently and as part of a team; follow all safety rules.
• Overtime may be required; weekends may be required.
