Job summary

Qualifications

Mechanical journeyman or technical/vocational certificate preferred but not required.
Experience in mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance is essential.
Ability to read and use measuring devices accurately.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, install, maintain and repair machinery such as paper bag machines and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance, lubricate components and monitor vibrations/noise.
Set up and operate metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Work safely, follow policies and identify unsafe conditions.
Respond to work orders and collaborate with team members.
Assist supervisor in ordering parts and planning projects.
