Job summary

Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, diagnose equipment, perform preventative maintenance, manage work orders, and fabricate parts.

The role requires 4+ years in maintenance within heavy manufacturing, knowledge of 480-volt electrical systems, crane operation, welding, plumbing and mechanical repair, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical systems, including 480-volt connections.
• Knowledge of crane operation and welding equipment.
• Proficient in plumbing and mechanical equipment repair.
• Ability to read and interpret machine blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong experience with preventive maintenance procedures and work order systems.
• Forklift training and certification provided by the company.
• CNC machine experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Complete work orders and data input in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Operate machine tools for fabrication as necessary.
• Assist in ordering and managing parts and supplies inventory.
• Maintain accurate records, including schematics, drawings, and photographs.
• Repair and replace pipes, fittings, and systems for pumps and compressors.
• Provide facility maintenance services such as carpentry, plumbing, and painting.
• Contribute to safety and environmental improvements.
