Job summary

Accelera in Baltimore is looking for skilled Maintenance Mechanics and Electro-Mechanical Technicians to ensure peak performance of production lines. You will upkeep and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep machinery safe and running on schedule.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, supporting changeovers, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to interruptions, while maintaining GMP and SQF standards and accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Proven background as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Experience diagnosing pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with blow molding, packaging or conveyors is advantageous.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Identify, repair, install, and service industrial production machinery.
• Diagnose issues across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Service packaging lines, conveyors, and related rotary equipment to maximize uptime.
• Execute proactive maintenance to minimize unexpected downtime.
• Provide rapid response to production interruptions and mechanical failures.
• Support equipment changeovers and mechanical adjustments.
• Document maintenance activities, parts, downtime, and inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and GMP/SQF standards.
