C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation of production equipment in our food manufacturing environment. The role combines technical skills, problem solving, and a strong commitment to safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on conveyors, mixers, packaging, and refrigeration, plus diagnostics and repairs to minimise downtime. You will support facility systems, participate in safety programs, and document maintenance

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ related experience in industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in an automated food processing plant.
• 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on production machinery, including conveyors, mixers, packaging equipment, and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to emergency unscheduled troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment during the manufacturing process to prevent disruptions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards and food safety regulations.
• Monitor and repair facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, to support a safe and comfortable working environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols, participate in safety training, and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and OSHA.
