Job summary

Genpak is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to keep extrusion and thermoforming equipment and the facility in excellent condition. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure tooling and parts are properly stocked and stored.

The role requires reading schematics, following safety rules, and coordinating with shift supervision to maintain high production uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years manufacturing maintenance experience including welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical controls, and repair of plant machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Certifications: Powered Industrial Truck, Lockout/Tagout, On-site Hazmat, Hot Work Permit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment and building to ensure good working order.
• Coordinate with Shift Supervisor to maximize production uptime.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety programs per schedule with proper documentation.
• Maintain maintenance parts inventory per Infor System guidelines.
• Repair and setup extrusion and thermoforming machinery and related tooling.
• Follow proper shutdown/startup procedures and complete all work orders on time.
