Select Sires, Inc. in Plain City, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our production operations team. This full-time role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of facilities and equipment used to produce dairy and beef genetics.

You will help keep operations safe, reliable, and efficient, with opportunities to participate in facility projects and capital improvements. A strong mechanical background and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, agricultural operations, facilities maintenance, HVAC, welding, plumbing, or related trades preferred.
• Technical certifications, vocational training, or maintenance-related education are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and operational issues.
• Support production equipment reliability and performance.
• Complete facility and grounds maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Assist with facility improvement and capital projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance.
• Respond to maintenance requests and production support needs.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintenance standards, and regulatory requirements.
