Qualifications

• Requires an Associate Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Maintenance or completion of a formal Apprenticeship Program.
• Must be able to read and understand electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and calibration skills are required.
• Ability to perform maintenance and repair on a wide variety of machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair production and facilities equipment.
• Perform maintenance and electrical duties in all departments to support production.
• Rebuild gears, drives and pneumatic cylinders; perform plumbing and general machine shop work.
• Dismantle machines to access problem areas and replace worn parts.
• Install and perform periodic maintenance on various machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, transformers and lighting; replace electrical components.
