Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. in Fontana, CA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install and repair electrical equipment, read blueprints, and follow safety rules in an industrial manufacturing setting.

The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-the-job training. Overtime may be required; shifts vary (8, 10, or 12 hours). Competitive pay with benefits starts day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1–3 years in maintenance mechanic role or similar.
• Preferred experience as Electrical Controls Technician in industrial manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules for hydraulic, mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Install and repair electrical equipment including generators, transformers and switchboards.
• Read blueprints, drawings, layouts and technical instructions.
• Use welding equipment for layout and fitting and make jigs/fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain machinery and perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Enter repair history and update procedures as needed.
