Qualifications

• High school diploma and minimum three years of production maintenance experience.
• Experience with hazards and safety precautions in maintenance work.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create drawings, blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and systems operate efficiently.
• Repairs and replaces broken components of machinery and equipment.
• Assembles, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical components, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
• Inspects electrical systems and components for hazards and compliance with codes.
• Tests electrical systems and continuity using testing devices.
• Cleans, lubricates, and adjusts parts and equipment.
• Diagnoses problems to locate causes of breakdowns.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs during production.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
