Job summary

Chicago Magnesium Casting and Midwest Aerospace Casting, LLC. is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, along with general building upkeep. The role involves working both indoors and outdoors and requires following safety protocols.

The position requires reading work instructions, strong communication, and basic computer data entry skills. Prioritization and timely response to maintenance requests are essential.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of electrical trade functions to include installation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
Performs checks and balances on machines to assure the proper functioning.
Inspects, tests and adjusts all systems, machinery and equipment per maintenance schedule.
Responds to safety and security calls regarding machinery.
Inspects damaged parts and repairs as needed.
Delivers and/or picks up supplies when needed.
Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
