Job summary

Walmart is seeking a maintenance technician skilled in electronic technology to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment at the Fort Worth facility. You will troubleshoot electrical/electronic systems, work with PLCs, and operate battery and material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires coursework or certification in electronic technology or substantial hands-on maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance specializing in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
• OR 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance specializing in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
• Experience with troubleshooting automated equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, and related systems
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PLCs and IO devices
• Operate material handling equipment and other powered equipment
• Diagnose refrigeration and electrical problems using drawings, blueprints and diagnostic tools
• Assist other maintenance technicians in repair and maintenance tasks
