Role Description

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at the Walmart Distribution Center in Lancaster, TX. This position is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of warehouse equipment and systems, including conveyors, forklifts, palletizers, and building infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing corrective repairs, and documenting work in maintenance systems. The Maintenance Technician collaborates with operations and safety teams to minimize downtime, support safe working conditions, and respond promptly to equipment failures. The role may involve working in varying temperatures, standing for extended periods, and rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
