Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Kent, WA seeks an experienced maintenance technician to uphold and repair production equipment under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor. You will help keep manufacturing lines productive by diagnosing issues and performing preventive tasks to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles, with a background in reading blueprints and operating a variety of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational certification preferred.
• Ability to read and understand safety procedures and maintenance instructions.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and electrical principles.

Responsibilities

• Replace, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment and electrical components.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines operating at peak performance.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and filters and follow checklists for maintenance actions.
• Replace faulty parts, wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards.
