Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment in North Carolina. You will ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and reading diagrams/manuals.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical/hydraulic systems, ability to read blueprints, and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience of at least 5 years preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to review and understand basic machine blueprints.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic machine shop equipment.
• Lifting up to 40 lbs with assistance when needed.
• Ability to endure hot or cold temperatures, noise, dust and dirt.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the safe working condition of facility equipment, building and grounds
• Constructs fixtures as required
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment as scheduled
• Repairs facility equipment, fixtures, building, and grounds
• Removes and/or installs fixtures and equipment for safe, efficient operation
• Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of failures and recommends solutions for repair
• Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of maintenance equipment, tools, and fixtures
