Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is looking for a maintenance mechanic to perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing machinery, reading blueprints and diagrams, and using tools to repair and fabricate parts while maintaining safety and cleanliness on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical components.
• 1+ year industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Welding skills preferred.
• Able to read/write simple instructions and communicate with the team.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair machines, maintenance and facilities repairs (electrical, mechanical, welding).
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets and schematics.
• Use hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut and replace parts.
• Limit downtime by informing production of preventive maintenance and monitoring compliance.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, functional and safe.
