Job summary

ATS is seeking an industrial maintenance technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance in a factory setting. You will inspect equipment, repair parts, and test performance while following safety and 5S standards.

Experience with electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems is essential, and travel may be required. Responsibilities include identifying parts, setting up machining operations, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associate degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Able to analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
• Sets up and operates machining operations and may perform welding tasks.
• Follows 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drives CI activities and reviews CMMS history.
• Troubleshoots control systems to resolve software and hardware issues.
• Uses predictive maintenance data to monitor equipment performance.
• Mentors lower level technicians and supports training.
• Completes on-the-job and technical self-study for career development.
• Adheres to safety policies and identifies unsafe conditions.
