Job summary

extcsskbatteryam is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in a Georgia manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and coordinate with outside contractors as needed.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, operating metalworking machines, and maintaining lockout/tagout safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year maintenance experience in manufacturing (preferred automotive, EV battery, mechanical or electrical).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to carry 20 lbs up and down stairs.
• Stand/walk up to 12 hours per day on varied terrain.
• Stoop, bend, reach, crawl as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems using standard tools.
• Inspect and repair equipment, log test readings, and perform repairs or replacements.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine assembly methods.
• Operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, and fixtures.
• Prepare work orders and review project instructions for fabrication and testing.
• Maintain system logs and documentation for equipment testing and operation.
• Follow lockout/tagout safety procedures.
