Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking an Associate Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on metal stamping equipment and related systems at our McKinney, TX facility. The role is full-time with a weekend Fri–Sun shift (6:00 AM–6:30 PM) and a $2.50 per hour differential.

Responsibilities include installing and servicing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and control systems, plus miscellaneous tasks such as parts pickup and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Associates in a technology related field preferred.
• PIT Certification required and will be certified at hire.
• 7 years of experience in industrial or commercial environments.
• Own tools must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install and service electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic and control systems (80%).
• Perform repairs and coordinate vendors or training material development (5%).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, electronic and mechanical equipment (5%).
• Perform preventative maintenance on stamping presses and supporting equipment (5%).
• Perform routine industrial and facility maintenance (5%).
