Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a maintenance technician to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults on production and facility equipment. You will troubleshoot motors, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and control circuits, and perform mechanical repairs on bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and belts.

You will read schematics and manuals, execute preventive maintenance, identify root causes, and install or modify equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, control circuits, and related components.
• Perform mechanical repairs involving bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, fans, couplings, belts, chains, shafts, and power-transmission systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and equipment requirements.
• Identify root causes of recurring failures and recommend or implement corrective actions.
• Install, align, test, and commission new or modified equipment and components.
• Document work performed, parts used, equipment condition, and follow-up needs in the CMMS.
