Energy Jobline ZR in Lancaster, PA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our fast-paced manufacturing facility. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems to keep operations safe, reliable, and efficient.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance, ability to read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, and work independently or with the team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, plant, or facility maintenance.
• Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous electrical maintenance or troubleshooting experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to identify defective or worn components and determine repair or replacement methods.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, repair manuals, parts catalogs, and equipment documentation.
• Experience performing routine preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of bearings, gears, belts, chains, shafts, couplings, and drive systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (basic to intermediate).
• Ability to use measuring devices and diagnostic equipment accurately.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and respond to breakdowns.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of production machinery and equipment to identify wear, damage, abnormal operating conditions, and potential failures.
• Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment problems.
• Repair, adjust, rebuild, or replace defective mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as reamers, roll mills, presses, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other industrial machinery.
• Perform repairs to machinery, equipment, fixtures, structures, and other plant assets.
• Lubricate machinery and perform routine adjustments, alignments, and equipment setups.
• Inspect belts, bearings, gears, chains, shafts, couplings, seals, motors, and other wear components and replace as necessary.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting within scope of training and qualifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools to identify equipment problems and verify repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, repair manuals, parts catalogs, and technical drawings.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities through CMMS or work orders.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Communicate repair status and maintenance concerns to supervisors and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety practices before performing maintenance.
• Participate in continuous improvement to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
