Job summary

FCA Packaging in Clayton, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems. The role requires hands-on experience with industrial machinery, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and electrical basics.

You will also assist production operations and facility needs, with overtime during breakdowns. This full-time position offers a daytime schedule at our Clayton facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; technical training is a plus.
• 2+ years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Ability to read manuals and diagrams; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose mechanical issues involving motors, bearings, belts, chains, conveyors, and other components.
• Work with hydraulic systems and troubleshoot hydraulic components.
• Apply basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
• Build, assemble, modify, and install equipment, fixtures, structures, and other projects.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and return machines to operation safely.
