Aerotek is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and automated material handling systems in a fast-paced distribution and logistics environment.

This contract-to-hire opportunity offers long-term career potential and requires 2+ years in maintenance, ability to read manuals/schematics, and strong mechanical skills; lifting up to 50 lbs is expected. Location is Commerce City / Aurora, CO area with onsite work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or fulfillment environments.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Complete inspections, maintenance records, and work orders.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety procedures.
• Work with operations teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
