Job summary

Associated Materials / Alside is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide technical support for the maintenance department, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, repair machinery to original standards, and respond to trouble calls to support production.

This role requires 2-3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, knowledge of servo drives, CNC machinery, PLCs, and safe handling of tools, with ability to collaborate across departments and adhere to safety and best-practice

Qualifications

2-3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Knowledge of servo drives and motors, software-controlled CNC machinery, and PLCs.
Proficiency with selecting and using tools safely.
Basic math concepts including arithmetic, geometry and trigonometry.

Responsibilities

Analyze and repair mechanical systems, troubleshoot breakdowns, and identify areas for future concern.
Analyze and repair electrical systems, troubleshoot breakdowns, and identify areas for future concern.
Safely install and relocate equipment and machinery to production and support areas.
Analyze and repair pneumatic systems, troubleshoot breakdowns, and identify areas for future concern.
Analyze and repair hydraulic systems, troubleshoot breakdowns, and identify areas for future concern.
Troubleshoot and repair CNC and pneumatic equipment on production lines; install and set up new machinery.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
All other duties as assigned.
