Job summary

Advanced Technology Services in Augusta, GA is seeking a maintenance technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance on plant equipment. You will diagnose issues, disassemble devices, source parts, set up machining, and support CI and 5S initiatives while updating CMMS records.

The role requires an technical Associate degree or equivalent experience, strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience or completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems and can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance.
• Identify root causes by observing operation and dismantling devices.
• Source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Set up and operate machining tools; may perform welding.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drive CI activities and cost savings.
• Update CMMS history and records.
