Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers at our Albuquerque facility.

The role requires strong knowledge of industrial equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, welding and plumbing, with in-plant responsibilities and leadership elements. Starting pay ranges from $19–$25 per hour and full benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance engineering experience, with knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, and boiler applications.
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading repair manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment to keep machines running smoothly.
• Responsible for morning start-up and evening shutdown of equipment including boiler, air compressor, power, pumps and valves.
• Maintain lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings and water levels; perform general repairs.
• Complete all general and basic repairs on machinery and follow manufacturer maintenance schedules with documentation.
• Identify and report major repairs needed on machinery.
