Job summary

Altium Packaging in Turners Falls, MA is seeking a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and related systems. You will follow GMP standards, troubleshoot root causes, install and adjust components, inspect hoses, valves, pumps and perform welds or fabrication as needed.

Overtime may be required due to business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Basic mathematical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment.
