Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Chino, CA. The role performs repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, blow mold equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The candidate should have basic math and computer skills, knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, and attention to detail. Preferred: 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance and OSHA forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• 2+ years maintenance experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
• OSHA forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive/corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and facility.
• Install, adjust, and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment and keep machines in optimal condition.
• Weld, fabricate and repair machinery as needed.
• Troubleshoot and locate root causes of equipment failures across blow mold, baggers and support systems.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments regularly.
• Support plant differences based on equipment and design.
