Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group seeks a Maintenance Technician for Hastings/Caledonia, MI, to safeguard automated manufacturing equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and support production with rapid issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of PLCs and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and automated systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-related issues.
• Use methodical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Communicate downtime trends to Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams.
• Perform basic robot troubleshooting and recovery procedures.
• Repair motors, relays, switches, sensors, drives, and PLCs.
• Read equipment drawings and electrical diagrams to diagnose faults.
• Replace worn components and manage spare parts inventory.
• Support with equipment upgrades and new production installations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and work orders.
