You’ll be a Pro Services employee working onsite with the customer’s maintenance team while you train through the Pro Services Academy . You’ll get paid classroom and hands-on training, real plant experience with guidance and mentorship every step of the way, and a path to earning a U.S. Department of Labor journeyman certificate. Our customer is an aerospace investment casting facility in La Porte, Indiana, supplying jet engine components to some of the most trusted names in the industry. Production is on the rise, and the maintenance team is growing to keep up.
There’s new and challenging equipment every day, which makes it a great place to learn. The plant is clean, with fewer health concerns than many industrial environments, and its critical safety programs, like fall prevention and confined space, are truly administered and followed. The culture is built around people who want to help each other, and as an apprentice, you’ll never be on your own.
You’re newer to the maintenance field but not new to working with your hands. Maybe you’re in a maintenance support role , you’re an operator-maintainer , or you’re a diesel mechanic . Ideally, you’ve got 2+ years around industrial maintenance, and you bring transferable skills that help you pick up new information quickly.
You’re eager to learn, and you put in the work, both on the plant floor and in your online coursework. You’re self-motivated, you stay on the move, and you ask questions when you need to. You show up reliably, pay attention to detail, and communicate clearly with your mentors, operators, and teammates. Most of all, you live our core values of Safety, Integrity, Pride, and Teamwork every shift.
