Job summary

Circular Services in the U.S. operates recycling facilities and is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Charlotte, NC.

You will perform preventive maintenance on shredders, balers, conveyors and support equipment, diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues, and assist senior technicians while maintaining a safe, organized work area. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends and up to 25% travel to support multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial, mechanical, or electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections on plant machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose and promptly repair mechanical and hydraulic issues in balers, shredders, conveyors, forklifts, trailers, and other systems.
• Assist senior technicians with rolling stock equipment maintenance and support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA and corporate standards, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with plant operators to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements. Support housekeeping, environmental compliance, and inventory management.
• A flexible schedule is required, including weekends and up to 25% travel to support multiple facilities.
