Job summary

ProAmpac Beaverton is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production running safely and efficiently. This hourly full-time role focuses on rapid response, troubleshooting, and equipment uptime on the production floor.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues, and collaborate with production staff to resolve problems quickly. Experience in industrial maintenance preferred; be prepared to lift up to 50 lbs and work safety-first.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems is a plus.
• 2–4 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or equipment repair.
• Familiarity with CMMS or work order systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and restoring machines to service as efficiently and safely as possible.
• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues (motors, sensors, switches, wiring, and controls as applicable).
• Supporting pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems used in production equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving day-to-day equipment issues on the production floor.
• Completing work orders and prioritizing tasks based on production downtime and urgency.
