Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Rocky Mount, NC. This full-time, on-site role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, and supporting site operations.

The position is 40 hours per week with a 5/8s shift schedule, second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Candidates must have 3–5 years journeyman experience and be able to pass required screenings.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Must pass drug screen, pre-employment physical, and background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs and installs industrial mechanical equipment.
• Tests, repairs or installs mechanical units and pumps.
• Replaces bearings, chains, sprockets and other machine parts.
• Rebuilds pumps, cylinders and other mechanical equipment per SOPs.
• Fabricates repair parts as needed.
