Job summary

Steel Technologies LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The role includes troubleshooting plant equipment, interpreting blueprints, and communicating issues to supervisors.

Flexible with overtime and continuous improvement initiatives are encouraged. Regular hours are Monday–Friday 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, with overtime added to the end of shifts.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with motor control systems and fire protection knowledge.
Experience using CMMS to log and track work orders.
Ability to read blueprints and fabricate parts as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and routine maintenance on plant machinery.
Respond to and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems.
Document work orders and maintenance actions accurately.
