Job summary

Steel Technologies LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to improve safety, quality, and efficiency by performing preventative, routine, and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance with strong troubleshooting.

This role on 1st shift (4:30am–3:00pm, Mon–Fri, possible weekends) offers hourly pay between $25 and $32, dependent on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience operating metal working tools such as grinder, band saw, drill press, welding equipment.
• Strong mechanical industrial knowledge and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to retrieve and input data in Excel and CMMS.
• Mechatronics certificate is strongly desired but not required.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on plant machinery and execute the maintenance program.
• Minimize downtime by reviewing plant equipment operation and addressing issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs and document work orders.
• Interpret blueprints to fabricate parts and install equipment.
