Job Purpose: Ultimately responsible for preventative and diagnostic maintenance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machinery
  • Support machine improvement and the installation of new equipment
  • Possess controls, robot programming, and automation experience
  • Complete TPM activities on workshop equipment
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints to perform required maintenance and service
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor
  • Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or other technical field
  • 3-5 years verifiable experience in Industrial Maintenance
  • Specific experience maintaining stamping presses
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Automation experience
  • Well-versed in standard preventative maintenance protocols
  • Proficient in use of hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and PPE
  • Proficient in metal cutting, welding, drilling, and tapping
  • Working knowledge of PLC and relay logic control systems
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic devices and controls
  • Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems and LOTO procedures
  • Previous experience maintaining air compressors is a plus
  • Experience programming automated equipment including robots
  • Ability to perform active job duties that require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
  • Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs
