As a CRITICAL UTILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN supporting our MAINTENANCE TEAM you will be responsible for REPAIRS, ADJUSTMENTS, AND ONGOING MAINTENANCE OF THE FACILITIES AT FORT WORTH NORTH MANUFACTURING IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS, US,In this role, a typical day will include:
- Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work.
- Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
- Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment - uses hand and power tools.
- Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
- Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 4 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: 2nd Shift - Sunday - Wednesday from 2:00pm - 12:00am
- Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%
