Job summary

Sandridge Crafted Foods is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our food manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery while supporting downtime reduction and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
Experience troubleshooting production equipment.
Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and industrial controls.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and production machinery
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues
Install, repair, and adjust motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, sensors, and production equipment
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
Perform welding and fabrication as needed
Work closely with Production to resolve equipment issues and improve machine reliability
Complete maintenance work orders and documentation using CMMS
Maintain a clean, safe maintenance shop and work environment
Support equipment installations, upgrades, continuous improvement, and capital projects
Follow all food safety, GMP, SQF, and workplace safety standards

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll help maximize equipment uptime while supporting production, food safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
Experience troubleshooting production equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
PLC and HMI troubleshooting experience
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience
Welding and fabrication experience (TIG preferred)
Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, pumps, and industrial controls
Ability to safely work with electrical systems up to 480V three-phase
Experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements

This is an active maintenance position requiring the ability to:

Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in production areas throughout the shift
Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Work in refrigerated, wet, and manufacturing environments
Safely use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic equipment
Participate in overtime or emergency repairs when needed
