Job summary

The Cannabist Company is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, custodial tasks, and grounds upkeep at our cannabis cultivation and manufacturing facility. The role requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma, and 3–5 years industrial experience, with VFD installation and troubleshooting skills.

This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and requires willingness to work overtime, on-call after hours, and lift up

Qualifications

• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years industrial work experience preferred, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
• Ability to install, program, and troubleshoot variable frequency drives.
• Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work; work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical equipment as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintains the condition of all mechanical systems.
• Works with contractors and vendors.
• Performs troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems.
• Handles emergency service calls after business hours on an on‑call rotation.
• Maintains cleaning and custodial duties and grounds.
• Inspects doors, windows, and locks for security.
• Reports needed repairs or safety hazards.
• Loads and unloads supplies and moves heavy items.
