Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 1st Shift (Monday–Friday) to inspect, repair and maintain forklifts, material handling equipment, and production machinery in Bethlehem, PA.

The role emphasizes diagnosing issues, preventive maintenance, and installations as needed, using manuals, diagnostics tools, and a variety of hand, pneumatic, and power tools; welding may be required.

Qualifications

Must have factory training and certification in diagnostic software.
PLC experience preferred (nice to have).
Ability to work with hand, pneumatic and power tools as well as welding equipment.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions from supervisor and work independently.

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair, and maintain forklifts, material handling equipment, and production machinery.
Analyze and diagnose equipment problems and breakdowns.
Use manuals, diagrams, and diagnostics to troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, transmissions, or other components.
Utilize hand and power tools to remove, install, rebuild, and test parts and equipment.
Replace pumps, batteries, radiators, bearings, seals, wiring, fuel lines, and plugs.
