Job summary

Metglas, Inc. in Conway, SC, a world leading producer of amorphous metal ribbon, is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians for our busy 24/7 metal melting plant.

The role provides support, preventive maintenance, and service to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal/mechanical systems used in amorphous metal production. You will read mechanical and electrical drawings, troubleshoot with Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5500/5000, and use a CMMS to schedule work and complete maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial maintenance electronics, electrical, mechanical hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and AC inverters.
• Experience using Allen-Bradley Logics 5500 and 5000 software.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, preventive maintenance, and service to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal/mechanical systems and equipment.
• Repair and maintain electrical, electronic, and power systems including PLCs, inverters, and drive systems.
• Operate welding, cutting, and burning equipment as needed.
• Utilize CMMS to schedule work and perform predictive and proactive maintenance.
• Maintain safe work areas and follow all safety procedures.
