Job summary

T&R Tooling is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager with machine and equipment repairs and to perform a range of basic building and grounds maintenance tasks. The role includes cleaning on the manufacturing floor and ensuring safe, efficient operation of equipment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, about one year of experience, and familiarity with sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Able to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).
• Attention to detail and quality in accomplishing tasks.
• Safety-conscious and proactive.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Manager with machine and equipment repairs.
• Perform minor to moderate building repairs (painting, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Maintain grounds around the building (mowing, weed treatment, cleaning).
• Clean the manufacturing floor.

Job Summary:

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in helping to keep the building and grounds maintained. You will primarily support the Maintenance Manager by helping with a variety of maintenance tasks.

Reporting:

The Maintenance Tech reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist Maintenance Manager with machine and equipment repairs.
• Minor to Moderate building repairs that include but are not limited to light construction, painting, minor plumbing and electrical, moving equipment, disassembling/reassembling equipment, etc.
• Maintain grounds around the building by mowing, treating weeds, and cleaning.
• Cleaning on the manufacturing floor.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year experience.
• Experience with sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks.
• Able to perform physical tasks (lifting, climbing, standing, bending).
• Diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and results-driven.
• Proactively promotes safety.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.

Measures of Success:

• Maintenance Manager is well supported.
• Building and grounds are well maintained.

Hours:

Monday - Friday / 7:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. (Occasional overtime).
